It's a course designed for herbal practitioners seeking a heart-centered approach and practical skills to bring their vision to life.
Crafting Your Herbal Practice provides essential skills and guidance to align your herbal practice with your goals and values.

Crafting Your Herbal Practice begins on January 7, 2025. Live virtual classes meet on Tuesday nights, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm each week until March 25, 2025.
Our early registration is now OPEN.
Tuition is only $950 until October 1, 2024
Monthly payment options are available.
After October 1, 2024, tuition is $1450.
Crafting Your Herbal Practice
is for you if you are ready to:
Develop self-awareness about the many elements of a therapeutic relationship.
Create and hold a sacred, safe space for your client and yourself.
Improve your intake skills and create concise case studies.
Identify your core values around herb sustainability and conservation and access resources to implement them in your practice.
Establish practice policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality
Implement safe apothecary practices: record keeping, sustainable sourcing, compounding guidelines, etc.
Generate a working business plan, integrating tax planning, business entities, liability insurance, waivers, and other business practices with your practice vision.
We invite you to join us if you have…
Completed a foundation-level herb program that included herbs for specific body systems, basic herbal energetics, herbal actions, and a working knowledge of the uses of at least 100 herbs.
Knowledge of the ethical and ecological issues inherent in herbal practice.
A basic understanding of the health assessment paradigm you will use to guide your herbal protocols (e.g., Western herbalism, folk medicine, inherited traditions, energetics, TCM, Ayurveda)
Completed a basic anatomy and physiology course or similar level of education.
Patricia Kyritsi Howell and Kat Maier, herbal elders with almost 70 years of combined experience, are the primary teachers for the course; they’ll be joined by guest teachers Camille Freeman, Mimi Hernandez, and Emily Ruff.
